WHITE PINE NATIONAL GOLF RESORT

White Pine National Golf Resort offers world class conditions that will bring out the absolute best in your Northeast Michigan golf game. You’ll find that White Pine National is fair to the high handicappers and challenging to the low handicappers. You won’t find any water holes. The challenge is provided by the length of the holes, bunker placement and green size. They have something here for every golfing style. Every green is placed in a very natural setting. In fact, you’ll find that they haven’t made major alterations in the terrain at White Pine National. CHEBOYGAN GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB

Since opening in 1922, the Cheboygan Golf & Country Club has built a reputation for offering quality playing conditions to golfers in northern Michigan. The 18 holes of “Championship Golf” is open to the public, and offers the golfer a variety of holes to play. The front nine has a “Scottish” style with rolling mounds and a few trees to contend with, while the back nine features a picturesque northern woodlands design. The entire golf course is enjoyable to play because it is not overly long and easy to walk. However, the smaller, smooth greens will put an emphasis on your short game making it challenging enough for the most experienced of golfers. Come visit our “friendly” course and see for yourself.

EAGLE RIDGE GOLF CLUB OF GLENNIE

The course is set in the heart of the Huron National Forest and has been set up to accomodate golfers of all ages and ability levels.  Eagle Ridge features a challenging 18 hole golf course that plays from 6,953 yards at the black tees down to 4,767 yards at the forward tees.  Whether you are an avid zero handicap golfer or the beginning novice, you will enjoy the rolling hills, valleys and beautifully landscaped views abounding at every hole at Eagle Ridge.  The banquet facility at Eagle Ridge offers an outstanding venue for a golf outing, wedding, graduation, birthday, retirement party etc.  Eagle Ridge is located just south of Glennie on M-65.

OTSEGO RESORT - THE CLASSIC GOLF COURSE

The Classic is a favorite among golf course traditionalists, the golf course sits in a beautiful parkland setting overlooking the famed Sturgeon River Valley just one mile from downtown Gaylord. The Classic provides much needed relief from some of the long and demanding golf courses that make up the Gaylord area.

Though 6348 from the tips, the course offers enough challenges for the most skilled golfers and wide fairways for the beginner. The Classic is a sleeper amidst the big name resort courses in this area. The greens are kept at a very quick pace and are considered by some players the best in Northern Michigan. The signature hole, #9, is a par 4 measuring 285 yards from the back tees — where golfers hit from one ski slope top to another. A glance back from the #9 green offers the same panoramic twenty mile view as seen from the historic main lodge.
